Umm. You shouldnt have played this for your first time. Find a normal galaxy where you have more time to understand the basics and really enjoy the game.

i got up from my chair and fell straight down again.
5 hours of perfect concentration and total immobility Smile

but it was A LOT of fun.

haha, yeh, its great, the speedgame. I barely installed any gov's. I can do it all myself now Wink

But thats probably gonna change tomorrow when I conquer a new part of the universe Evil

(very small universe, but okay LOL

The 30mins break I was pretty bored though Tongue

Generally it was a lot of fun, especially the first day with all the superfast development etc.

Got to learn alot about what to research and what not to do.

On the second day when the wars started on 2 fronts i couldnt keep up with the pace anymore. 2,5minutes per turn was not enough + my game client slowed down to a crawl from around turn 200 so every action on the user interface took 5x longer than usual.
That in itself would probably not have made a difference to the score.
At the moment im not too sure if i will join the next game, it just got too chaotic in the end.

Was a very good game though : )

am i crazy or were there only 4 active players the 2nd day?
when i checked the speedgalaxy 18 link it showed 4 online and 8 players.

There were 6 players throughout the game, the same 6 that were also there at the end of day one. 2 had dropped already yesterday at some point.

In the contrary of Inerz, I found 2.5mins too long in the second day. I had no management to do because I did proper governors, and I was just waiting for the next turn every time.

My Client was fast in every action, and had no problems like that. But Apparently meatbucket his client is getting slow sometime, that he told me. He had to reboot the client and was fine again. But again, i didn't get that problem.

Was great. And I am happy to have made it to #3. Thanks to Inerz to have attacked 2 well defended planets, gave me a lot of points to move from #4 to #3 couple turns before the end!
