Is it just me, or did we use to have word-wrap in the msg-screen?
Seems like the words get cut off rather abruptly at line breaks, and I seem to notice some unexpected newlines as well, in the middle of 'no-where', so to say.
I've noticed the same. I often write fast, and maybe I'm hitting the 'enter' key and not really noticing. Kinda used to chat ya know. But I'm not really all that sure. Go figure

That is really weird. I looked at the example that Arcady sent me, and it looks just fine on my machine.
I do know that in the past there were problems that the word wrapping code did not know the exact size of the window upon first display (that was years ago), but when you resized the window that was fixed. Right now I can not reproduce that at all, which sort of makes it hard to fix this.
What windows system are you guys on? Any special 3rd party apps installed? Do you happen to remember when this problem started?
Windows XP both at home and at work. I see it in both places.
It looks more like a Line Feed (13) character got itself in there to me, as resizing the window causes other text to move around and wrap differently, but not that.
I can't think of anything special I have on either system.

-Errhm, not that it matters, but I'm on Windows Seven, and I have had no message box issues at all. It might just be a Vista bug.-

Why would you downgrade to 7...?
Downgrade? Seven is kind of like Windows Vista, with 85% of the problems FIXED.

EDIT: Might just be a Windows Bug.

My point exactly
Honestly though, I only moved from 2k to XP to get MagicJack to work, which it only does partway now anyway. 7 is probably fine, but I still don't see any reason at all to switch. I even still run a DOS partition, but don't really use it anymore.

To be completely honest, my motives for going to 7 were simple...
I already had Vista (Halo 2 requires it for the PC. *Sob*)
I was sick of the Bugs.
7 fixed the bugs.
I was still able to play Halo 2. (*Cheer*)
