FAQ and Q&A with smart search function (game mechanics)
atm this is a request to CS players and not Erwin, but i think it belongs to suggestions...
what i had in mind will take some time to do right but i really think we need it, all the info is already available(forum search, wiki, player guides), but not in one place that's easy to browse...
1. FrequentlyAskedQuestions section:
50-100 most frequently asked questions (mostly what newbies want to know when they dont read the manual), after point 2 without much sense but i like FAQs
2. Q&A with smart search function:
instead of searching through all the CS forums and pages and then reading it all, we need a database with keywords so we can search for answers. I guess all the answers should be approved by atleast 3 ppl? to get on the Q&A
well, i know what i want, but not how to do it so i would appreciate any ideas.
any veterans volunteering to help? if a lot of us do little we can do a lot, lol
edit: by veterans i meant everyone knowing the rules
anyone knowing how to do it is also encouraged to speak up

I like the idea. I think of it more as having a topical index with all the threads that talk about that topic linked under it. It can be difficult to find links that really discuss the topic you are looking for.
If we linked at least several good threads about the topic/question that would be more helpful for newbie's than to expect them to search and weed through ALL the threads to find what they want.
I like the ideas as well. We don't even have to go back and look up old threads. The questions keep popping up again and again (which is why it's a good idea), so we really just have to set up the threads/forum, and then sit back and wait.

If I understand correctly, Branko would moderate that thread, so just the question and the answer would appear - in a condensed form. Unlike some rules
i would prefer if more players moderated it, but yeah, Q&A style, so if you write:
Can unarmed ship attack planet? you get the answer (Yes/No or a maximum of a few lines), not the myriad of threads with those keywords in them...(ppl dont want to read 10 pages of ppls discussions and then finding out noone actually answered it)
