I've more or less 400.000 score in Galaxy 198 (I've just lost a battle, damn connection Wink ). Am I rank at least 1?
And does this galaxy require a lot of presence? During summer I'm often at seaside and I cannot connect over there (Fucked Italy, Third World...)

PS: Why this name? No Sleep? Why? It's for hyperactive people only? Wink

A "rank 1 and up" galaxy is no place for a guy(gal) who has not finished his first galaxy yet. They should join team galaxies, or rank 0 and 1 or 0-2 galaxies.

We are working on that in the forum thread on newbie multi-team or whatever it says, that Dixie started.

You'd cream a rank 1 newbie, as well, nongolf--even the active and smart one who won their first galaxy.

But a team galaxy, they are welcome. You balance them on both sides and everybody counts. It's great for newbies. They learn a ton, get to know some of us, and have as much chance to win as anybody else.

If they want to have a chance, join a team galaxy, or one that is for rank 0 or 0-1.

I probably would, but someone like montaillou or our favourite noob malyshok, could certainly make surprises.

Besides, there's no better lesson than a clear defeat. I don't think newcomers join a galaxy expecting to get a good place either, so it's all good. It's only a problem when they go inactive.

Rank isn't always the best indication towards someone's skill in this game.

However, if someone can't commit to a 1 hour turn and they are frequently away and unable to even have internet, I would say this map is not for them.

Since the top 2 players are allied, and they dominate everything else in this galaxy, I call for an end and suggest the galaxy to wrap up at turn 470. Any objections?
