Would you like to set up a galaxy? We got mainly team galaxies in the pipeline. Alternatively I could open up one of my standard settings galaxies?
mizzi did a great job setting up Wild Bill...
Good settings, a fine blurb and a nice different image on the announcement really made a difference to me.
Anyway, I am not sure if I can join the next 1h/t galaxy, but I can give it a try on setting one (if needed).
Am also offering my help on setting up other galaxies when you need, Erwin.

I sure would appreciate that! I only do those with standard settings if no other suitable galaxy is in the pipeline, but it's better to have one with somewhat special settings - ideally together with a blob and theme behind it.

New 1 h tick galaxy
Hi all.
I'd like to start a new 1h tick galaxy. Sept 2nd?
Erwin, could you make it N x 1 x M (as if it was 2D, but not proper 2D). The interface demands Y to be at least 2.
@all: hight tech multiplier, but a bit worse planets than before. I'd fix the home to 40/50/40 so we kind of kill the ussual X/MAX/25 HS which is kind of boring. 9 civ trait changes and 5-6 planets per system.
Current dimensions are 9x2x9 but what i'd like is 10x1x10 or 9x1x9, depending on signups. ratio is 1:3, so we have a bit more space.. mhm, maybe it could be 15x1x5 or sth like this... thoughts?
The flatness could incite "regional wars" so there could be more sections that develop relatively independent...

10x1x10 would definitely not be possible in a 3D galaxy (because of the coordinate format - always needs to be 3 digits). In a 2D galaxy 10x10 would be possible (even bigger if necessary).
So you want it to be a flat galaxy? Why make it 3D then? Wouldn't 2D make more sense? I find 2D galaxies are easier to comprehend. So you take away the third dimension of the "play-field", but want to stick with the "more complicated" 3D interface?
I would think that over. But if that's what players want for this galaxy, I won't stand in the way. Just remember that 9x1x9 is the max size.

if we go 10 x 1 x 10.. wouldn't the furthest galaxy still have 3 digits if we label it 9/0/9? (cause we start counting from 0? or did you mention before that 10 x 1 x 10 wouldn't work anyhow)

Blob is underway!
The galaxy looks fantastic!
Ow, Erwin,, is it possible to change the starting credits to 799. I don't want half of the galaxy to bankrupt in the first few turns. If you can, make a reshuffle if necessary, there is only two players inside.
