Is anyone interested (besides Mizzi) in a speed galaxy this weekend?

Start time: 20:00 CET (is that too late?)
Schedule as before - 5 hours per day for 2 days with breaks in btwn the 5 hours.
Galaxy settings:
Ermm.. standard stuff, but what about going for a tall galaxy this time? 3 x 6 x 3 ?
300 sector space
5-5 planets
30-40 commodities
300 tech mod
1 corr mod
1 rep mod
200 col mod (?) - to even the playing field a bit?
breakeven - 40 so we can declare war easily?

It was on September 3, earth year 1976, that the human species landed its second probe on neighbouring Mars. What they didn't know at the time, however, was that this landing triggered a disturbance in the space time continuum, and caused ticks in the Cosmic Supremacy galaxy of Viking [Speed] Galaxy to be reduced to 2 earth-minute intervals.
So on the 35th anniversary of the Viking 2 landing, empires will fight it out over shortened tick times in this speed galaxy, which will be conducted over a 2 day schedule of 5 hour sessions each, with breaks in between.
The HQ is also set to start with a high starting population, so players will be in the thick of action straight away. Other settings are posted here [link to forum]

i propose tick lengths:
1-39 at 2 minutes per tick
40 at 10 minutes
41-59 at 3 minutes per tick
60 at 10 minutes
61-79 at 3 minutes per tick
80 at 30 minutes
81-100 at 3 minutes per tick
day 1 over
101-119 at 4 minutes per tick
120 at 10 minutes
121-139 at 4 minutes per tick
140 at 10 min
etc until the end.

I think Erwin is too busy to set up a different time schedule. So if it's this weekend, I think he'd insist for us to use the old settings of 2 mins (forgot how long the 1min starting ticks last)
Guess you'll have to design those ship designs faster and get governors to work on your planets :p
Btw... I didn't split my fleet.. I firecrackered it :p

yeah, cause if you look at it, speed galaxies tkae two time 5 hours. That is quite little compared with normals and waaaaay less then TG. TG is really a pain.
Unfortumatly next week I don't have time for it's. however at some point there was small idea of Speed TG in 2-3 weeks... with Ventrilo or mumble or sth like that... Dunno if it died or not.
Hmmm.... I think that there was question of it's possible to make Galaxy Speed and Team at same time.

We'll make it 18:00 CET or a bit later so it's good for both america and europe. Tingling says he cant play this weekend, so there is no more asian candidates I know of.

Actually.. maybe it is possible.. I was asking Erwin about one by PM, and I think he was saying it could be possible (?).. but I'll wait till he feels better before I ask more about it :p

Anyway, yep.. I cant make it this weekend :( but have fun you all
and i was suggesting a 2am-7am slot anyway :p so it's not really an 'asian-friendly' time).. I might be able to make 18:00 CET one day next time.. If I'm not busy doing other stuff at 12 midnight on Saturdays :p

Hey, I didn't mean it like: "damn tingling and his stupid timezone, I hope he can't play", goddamnit. If you could I'd be very happy to make the the time more suiting to you, or get another sun to shine over the eastern hemisphere.
