well, i was actually aiming at being captain for the CS Cup, which might just be a long-term engagement, but if we're postponing that one till after this one, i'm ok with doing it

The galaxy is open for our sign up. I am going to PM Erwin so that he can activate the draft lists.
About forming the Teams, I am fine with considering the CS Cup, and get some players together that might be the core for two teams. I do have a feeling that we have raw material for the core of 3 or 4 such Teams though, but I would let tingling and Confused wonder about that. Anyway, about tingling's matching suggestions, I think it's better to start working on something based only on the players who already signed up.
And who can post the announcement on the CS News? tingling, mizzi or Nongolf, Erwin asked me to ask you. So can one of you guys who have access please do it?

Hey Tingling, could we not just post a blurb inviting people for the Cup in a couple days too? That way we can get them to come to a new thread, where we explain the setup and ask them to get their own teams together. If we only get people who want to play but cant find a team, we can still set up teams, but lets see if the community can surprise us with a couple homebrewed teams
