Universal

These governors are called by several different governors, namely all the main (speciality) governors.

Fundamentals

A helper governor, this is called by all main governors. I used to start hurrying production at around 20.000 credits, but I’ve come to think it’s too early. I’d say don’t start before you’ve got at least five times that, and as you can see here, I always increase my holdings as the empire grows (and thus needs a bigger ‘buffer’ if income goes into the red).

The Rules
  • Set Recruitment Rate to 0%

Build Base

Builds basic facilities. All my ‘main’ governors call this governor. I build no more than 3 farms and 3 factories through the governor, but as explained above I build more manually.

Build Loyalty

This is actually sort of a remnant from one of the XP galaxies. It was more complex at that time, so much so that when I copied it over (by hand), I didn’t bother with the relish. It could stand for some additional ‘granularity’, e.g. more detail in regard of when to build a given amount of Propaganda Offices.

I’ve chosen to try to keep my planets’ corruption positive (e.g. ‘loyalty bonus’), but it does require a lot of space. Some players don’t bother with Propaganda Offices at all.
